Amano Inti
Amano Inti
Andean yarns have been the stuff of legend for hundreds of years; Peruvian textiles made in the 15th and 16th century still hang in the Metropolitan Museum of Art (!!). So how have they lasted so long, and in such wonderful condition? That's likely due to the gorgeous quality of fiber able to be grown and cultivated in Peru's ideal climate.
Enter Amano Yarns, who, inspired by the history and nature of Peru, bring you some of the softest and strongest Andean yarns available on the market today.
Inti is a Sport-to-Light-DK weight yarn made from 100% Peruvian Pima cotton, famed for its softness and strength. Named after the powerful Inca sun god Inti, this yarn represents sun-drenched life – and coincidentally, works up marvelously into beachwear. Try Inti for a crocheted coverup or beach tote that lasts season after season!
